They do not cause pain unless they are twisted, inflamed or irritated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Skin tags<\/strong> usually occur on hot and moist skin surfaces or on a skin area that is often rubbed. They usually appear around the neck, under the arms, under the breasts, in the groin and on the inside of the upper thigh area.
