Instructions: Remove raised moles with LeaLea yourself
Here you will find the 6 exact application steps for the safe removal of raised moles at home.
One pack provides enough LeaLea cream to remove:
- 10-14 raised moles / birthmarks with a diameter of 1.5 mm (1/16 ″),
- 6 – 8 raised moles / birthmarks 3 mm (1/8 ″) in diameter or
- 2 – 4 raised moles / birthmarks 6 mm (1/4 ″) in diameter
Generally, LeaLea can be used on all benign, raised moles on all parts of the body – regardless of color or shape, if they are smaller than 2 cm and do not contain any black parts.
Raised birthmarks and moles that are 3 to 6 mm (1/8 “- 1/4”) in diameter or larger will require more than one application to completely remove.
The LeaLea cream is only suitable for external use. Caution is advised when using it on the face and neck, as the skin is more sensitive here. It is advisable to carry out the first application on a less exposed area first and to treat only one area so that you can become familiar with the application and check whether you are satisfied with the results. People with significant immune disorders or disorders of the body’s own healing process, such as: excessive scarring, or keloid skin growths should consult a doctor before using the product. Avoid contact with the eyes, normal skin (except for the application area), injured or inflamed skin. In the event of accidental use, wash off immediately with clean water. If you feel unusually unwell afterwards, consult a doctor immediately. Important note: Use is not permitted for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. If you have further questions, please refer to our frequently asked questions or contact us here. We are immediately available for you in live chat or we will answer you quickly by e-mail within 24 hours.
The LeaLea Box contains:
- LeaLea cream jar
- Alcohol disinfectant wipes – 6 pieces
- A skin file for roughening soft birthmarks or moles
- Three lancets for scratching hard birthmarks or moles
- An applicator stick for application
- Package insert with a precise description of the application
This gives you all the important utensils for safe use. It is helpful to have cotton swabs ready for wiping off the cream. Optionally, you can get pure vitamin E oil (tocopherol) and an antibacterial cream (e.g. wound and healing ointment) from the pharmacy for follow-up treatment. Alternatively, you can use natural aloe vera gel without additives instead of the antibacterial cream.

6 easy application steps to remove safely
1.1 Cleaning
Thoroughly clean your hands, mole/birthmark, and application area with soap and water to remove sweat, grease, or dirt.
Then dry everything with a towel.
1.2 Disinfect
Disinfect the area of application over a large area with the antibacterial alcohol wipes provided.
2. Roughening
Roughen the entire surface of the mole/birthmark with the file provided. The light roughening is the most important step of the treatment so that the cream can be absorbed well. The easiest way to do this is to hold the birthmark between two fingers.
Do not roughen the surrounding skin. If bleeding occurs during roughening or scratching, wait until the bleeding has stopped completely before applying the cream.
3.1 Open the cream and stir
Open the LeaLea Creme jar and stir the contents thoroughly with the applicator stick. Do not use cotton swabs here!
If the cream has dried up, you can make the consistency liquid again yourself. Use the applicator to gradually add a small drop of water until the original, milky consistency has been achieved.
3.2 Apply the cream
Use the applicator stick to apply a thin layer of LeaLea cream to the surface of the mole/mole.
If possible, cover 100% of the mole or birthmark, but avoid contact of the cream with the surrounding skin. Should contact occur nevertheless, simply remove the cream with the help of a cotton swab and then immediately wash the area off with water.
Close the cream immediately after application.
3.3 Let the cream work for 20 minutes
Now let the cream work for 20 minutes. You should feel a moderate to strong burning sensation, which lasts for 5-10 minutes. The mole/birthmark should now slowly turn dark brown or black or the color of the contour should change.
If you do not feel a burning sensation on the treated skin area, this means that the LeaLea cream has not penetrated the tissue of your mole/birthmark. The application will only be partially successful or not at all. Wipe off the cream and repeat the application. Roughen up the birthmark more so that the cream can be better absorbed.
3.4 Wipe off the cream
Soak the white, dried LeaLea cream carefully with water for 10 seconds and then wipe it off with a cotton swab.
Reddened skin around the application area is a natural sign that the healing process has occurred. The reddening usually disappears after a short time.
Important : Raised birthmarks 3 to 6 mm (1/8 “- 1/4”) in diameter or more require further treatment. Now repeat steps 3.2 to 3.4 or wait 1-3 weeks for the crust to fall off and then repeat the entire application.
4. Let the crust form
A brown or black crust should have formed within the next 24 to 48 hours.
You have to take care to not remove it too early, as this can lead to scarring. Protect the crust while bathing, washing or exercising, for example with a band-aid.
Generally, an antibacterial cream can be used to prevent inflammation immediately after application. Alternatively, we recommend applying pure, natural aloe vera gel without additives 3-4 times a day until the crust has fallen off.
5. Let the black crust fall off
After 1-3 weeks (up to 5 weeks is normal for larger, multi-layered moles/birthmarks), the crust loosens naturally by itself and falls off.
It is important not to remove the crust too soon, as this interrupts the skin’s natural healing process and makes scarring more likely.
Pink discolored or reddish tissue is normal after the crust has fallen off. The skin tones gradually adjust again over time.
6.1 Protect the treated area
After the crust falls off, protect the newly formed skin from excessive exposure to the sun.
Also, do not apply care products with chemical ingredients.
Sport can of course be done without restriction if it does not cause any irritation to the treated area.
6.2 Improve and accelerate healing
A daily follow-up treatment with pure vitamin E oil from the pharmacy supports the skin in its regeneration. Apply the vitamin E oil at best 3-4 times a day. This can accelerate the healing process and improve the treatment result.
6.3 Adjusting skin tones naturally
After 3 months, the skin tone of the new skin has adapted more and more to the original skin tone. Usually it is then hardly possible to see where the birthmark or mole was once before.
Depending on the size of the mole/birthmark, blood flow and nutrient supply to the skin tissue, this can take up to 6 months. Be patient and continue with the follow-up treatment with vitamin E oil until you are satisfied with the result.
